Set in China of course, based on a legend. I loved it! Lots of action and excitement, weird dinosaur type of creatures but way worse, haha.

French spoken, so you have to read the subtitles. I don't usually like that but it goes with the movie, set in 18th century France.
The movie is well worth it! Good fighting scenes, waiting to finally see the beast, a bit of romance etc.

Not sure if anyone else is following this thread, I feel it's become a real good guide to finding movies, often even ones I'd never heard of before.

Anywho, I found another one from 2005 with Ewan McGregor & Scarlet Johansen.
Reviews said they didn't think much of it, but when they watched it, holy cow! Great movie!

So I decided to give it a whirl, and I totally agree: Holy cow! Great movie for sure!
The Island

A British mini-series (3 episodes) which is a true story of a serial killer in London. The investigation took place from 2002-2004.

A nice series, 9 seasons I believe with 4 episodes each:

British police series, and good ole British quality too! Set in Northumbria.
Not a young sexy police officer, but an elderly lady, which makes for a nice change. Great acting, good stories so far.
I only found it on one streaming site: gomovies.tube

t's a really old movie but it had me on the edge of my seat "The Jagged Edge" w/ Jeff Bridges

This series seems very promising!

The first time ever I put on a movie with Michael Caine. I normally switch it off as soon as I see him, haha.
But it's a GOOD movie!!

I watched "Signs" again with Mel Gibson and Joaquim Phoenix.
Great movie!!

Into the White is a remarkably good movie! It's based on a true story which takes place during WW2. I'm never keen om WW2 movies, but this is far from your typical one.

I'm wondering why I never came across these movies.

The only good action film series that came to mind was the Bourne
Identity series. I like that.

I also read the books, long before they were put into movies, and I loved the books.

I have to think of action/thriller TV series.

Movies are a good addition as well!
And yes, I did like the Bourne movies :)
