But years later when their geekiness has made them rich, they get hotties chasing them, or at least showing mild interest ! laugh

If he is a nerd no amount of money changes that... women just see him as a cash cow

Curious ladies:

If you had to pick ( just outright pick) a geek or a non geek man with a brain.. which would it be

just pure pick.. one or the other, which would it be.

When I walk in the room, which ever one sets aside what he's doing.. smiles at me with his eyes, walks over to me and tells me he's been waiting for me. Then puts his arm around me, pulls me close,
and kisses me like there's no tomorrow. love blushing

laugh laugh laugh

Seriously... it would depend on his mannerism and personality. Not whether or not he was a geek.

Am I the only one with this opinion that geeks, nerds hardly think they are good enough for a date?

I think a lot of people think /believe they aren't good enough for a date with a particular someone, or group they've labeled (e.g. "brad pitts," or, "supermodels").

I think a lot of people think they're too good for a date with others.

I think a lot of people in either category come up with lots of rationalizations so they don't have to recognize they are saying/believing they are too good/not good enough.

I don't believe you are the only one with that opinion.

I do think, in general, when people label themselves "geeks, nerds" or any number of other labels, they also accept whatever dating pool limitations that are generally associated with the label.

Yea...it's a difficult world for some of us nerds but when you go into IT the girls are hot

I consider myself to be a nerd. I'm into coding and enjoy spending hours in front of a computer. My gf say's that I'm not the stereotypical nerd though but to each their own.

I don't know why. Alot of women think intelligence is sexy on a man. When I think of nerd I think "smart as ***". I love it! I love it because I'm able to learn from that person and we can exchange knowledge. I'm not saying everyone else is stupid. I just think nerds have a certain level of intelligence that I find sexy and charming (even if they are awkward and have quirks about themselves).

Just my opinion...
