Who watches American pickers?

I watch that sometimes.

Those shows get kind of crazy.

i watched that and a few spin offs of it
i liked it cause of , like themselfs , ya never know what you will find

I remember watching that show 10 years ago maybe a year or two less. I liked it. Didn't know it was still on.

Haven't seen it .. what is it about ???

Guys would go around to junk yards mostly and go through the junk trying to find stuff they could buy and sell.

ah .. could be interesting depending on what they find lol

They don't go through junk yards. Some people spent their life collecting and now they've decided to sell. Some things are worth a lot of money.

There are very few shows that i like and this is one of them. i still have albums and 45s from the 70s. i kept the wrong things.

When I watched the show years ago they would go anywhere there was junk and that included junk yards.

Similar to antique roadshow ???

I think in antique roadshow people bring their prized possessions to get an evaluation. Pickers just go looking through junk where they find it to buy and sell.

people call them , cause they want to let go of stuff
or
they go door knocking
or
they have people that call around looking for hits

they sometimes dig through places (barns, old houses,etc etc etc)
or they get lucky and like cat said , Some people spent their life collecting and now they've decided to sell

as well as some people end up with the stuff from deaths or buy a place that has stuff

I watch American pickers and they go to a house of someone who is around 80 years old and they don't know what to do. Some guys say, I don't have family to give money to. I say, give it to charity.

Gosh I use to watch it all the time. They have an episode in a little town near me. Who doesn't love some pickin.

I watch the show. it is better than some of the other stuff on tv

cat ya might like "storage wars"
its different then the pickers
but i know a lot of people that like both those shows
and they find some cool stuff from time to time as well
