Trump warns of violent change if Republicans lose midterms

Washington (AFP) - US President Donald Trump warned evangelical leaders that if Republicans lose control of Congress in the midterm elections, Democrats will institute change "quickly and violently," The New York Times has reported.

At a meeting with those leaders at the White House on Monday, Trump said everything was at stake for his conservative agenda if his party loses in November, according to an audiotape of the meeting obtained by the Times.

Democrats "will overturn everything that we've done and they'll do it quickly and violently," Trump said, according to the Times report published Tuesday night.

"They will end everything immediately."

"When you look at Antifa," he added, referring to militant leftist anti-fascism groups, "and you look at some of these groups, these are violent people."

The Times said a White House spokesman, Hogan Gidley, declined to expand on what the president meant.

It was not the first time Trump has warned of violence if things did not go his way.

During the 2016 presidential campaign, he said his supporters would probably react violently if he did not win the Republican nomination.

"I think you'd have riots," Trump warned.

Trump, in his own little roundabout way, is calling his troops. His supporters, to do violent things if he doesn't get his way. But the Dem's will get the blame. He will blame everybody but himself.

I LOVE how the truly desperate people all tell you to do your own research to try to prove their crazy fantasies that they have come up with,because they know that THEY cant come up with anything on their own that sounds even halfway rational,but they are SO DESPERATE to say ANYTHING to try to validate their views that they HAVE TO write SOMETHING/ANYTHING,no matter WHAT it sounds like!!

OK, now here I go. I'm probably going to get a little off topic here myself.

But that's exactly what I'm trying to do, get people to post links to prove what they say. Instead of all the bickering and talking in circles that usually goes on in these threads. That doesn't prove anything. Especially in a political forum.

If you want people to "go down the rabbit hole" and see what's really there, then you have to be willing to give them a place to start and show proof. A person can talk all they want. But, if they aren't willing to back up what they say, then it's just words with no meaning or substance that usually get ignored. And if they are not, they should be. There would be a whole lot less arguing.

It's hard to argue with facts.

At least not to the FBI. And all this other stuff that these Trump supporters keep talking about but never prove, There is no real evidence.
