Our request was not ****ing out of the ordinary': Bridezilla who asked guests to pay $1,200 to attend her wedding calls it off and breaks up with her fiancé when they refuse to cough up

The post goes: 'Dear friends, it comes with great sadness that I am announcing the cancellation of the wedding. I apologise for cancelling only four days beforehand.

'Unfortunately, [fiance] and I have broken up due to some recent and irreparable problems. We have decided to end our relationship and not go forth with any future proceedings.'

Susan then explained how her relationship ended abruptly because her guests failed to fork out the $CAD 1,500 ($1,150) they had requested.

'I specifically, I mean specifically asked for cash gifts. How could we have our wedding that we dreamed of without proper funding?' she said.

'We'd sacrificed so much and only asked each guest for around $1,500. We talked to a few people who even promised us more to make our dream come true.
Our request for $1,500 was not ****ing out of the ordinary... If you couldn't contribute you weren't invited.

'My maid of honor pledged $5,000 along with her planning services. We tearfully thanked and accepted. My ex's family offered to contribute $3,000.

'So our request for $1,500 for all other guests was not ****ing out of the ordinary. Like, we made it clear. If you couldn't contribute, you weren't invited to our exclusive wedding. It's a once and a lifetime party [sic].'

She revealed the reason behind why they opted for an extravagant wedding.

'Since our love was like a fairytale, we wanted an extravagant blow out wedding... A local psychic told us to go with the most expensive option, and we thought why the hell not?' Susan explained.

'We just needed a little push. Our dream wedding amounted to $60,000... All we asked was for a little help from our friends and family to make it happen.'

After sending out the invitations, only eight guests RSVP'd with their cheque of $1,500.

'We were f***ing livid,' Susan continued.

'How was this supposed to happen without a little help from our friends. To make matters worse, my ex's family took back their offer.

'Suddenly, more people backed out, including the c*** maid of honor. My best friend since childhood. My second family. I was so shocked and tearful.

My observations: 1) If you want to be a Kardashian, you have the attitude but need to get naked, be promiscuous and vulgar, and have a good manager to guide your insanity and mutilation of your body.
2. Instead of backpacking for 2 months in S.America,I suggest 2 months at a residential mental facility learning DBT and its skills.
3. My daughters both had beautiful weddings for $15K-20L each. It takes a lot of hard work to find the best, reasonable florists, venue, catering.
They had fabulous venues ~ one on the top floor of a Westin with floor to ceiling glass, at night with the prettiest view of Houston. One was outside in Colorado, in the Rockies,lots of trees, mountains with a perfectly sized creek.

Everyone could not have had a better time if they each cost $46,000.

just think how much joy she gave each one of her 'guests' when they checked the F.O. box and sent the invite back.

people like THAT need to be mercilessly publically ridiculed for the rest of her life so that people do not think that THAT sort of behavior is socially acceptable!!

but,NOW,thanks to worthless attention whores like the kardashians,and MORONIC shows on TLC that give 'fame' to people and celebrate them for being dysfunctional,all of these delusional people with delusions of grandeur,and an extremely exaggerated sense of their own self worth seem to think that this IS what 'reality' is supposed to be like.

I can't imagine what the x-groom went through since they were 4 yrs old, up to the wedding. Didn't date anyone else.

This woman must be a real scream to know. Sounds like, if you know her, she will ask you for a loan. I'm surprised that eight people would actually front this screwball woman $1500 for an invite to their wedding.

I had a former friend borrow $20 from me once. Every time I saw him after, I asked him for it back. He got really annoyed when I started asking for it in front of his other friends.

Must be why he avoids me like the plague.

I wonder if Bridezilla is no longer f***ing livid so the eight guests who sent their checks could ask for their money back.
