The NFL is there to make money. Kaep isn't known for being a good player. I guess his white parents didn't do a good enough job seeing he was raised with privileges. :thinking: which leave me believing that DNA causes people to be argumentative and lack the ability to succeed. No matter what benefits we give them.


I wonder if DNA causes people to be argumentative and lack the ability to use logic, no matter what privilege they 'earn'.







He did destroy his career. He could have easily protested on his own time without biting the hand that feeds him.


He bit no ones hand. He continued to play and play well enough to be top 30 or so. That was his job, playing football. If the 'career' has changed from being required to play football to being required to provide advertising for the troops or be a patriot poster boy, its not the career he probably signed up for anyway.

Well you want to piss off your boss. Disrupt business ..you get let go.
Others in the industry ( and it is a industry) see what you did and they don't want you doing it while they are paying you. So you don't get hired
Nothing new with that..business 101
My advice to him:
Buy a Popeye's franchise before all your money is gone..which will be soon ..because either you owe one or in a year or so you will be working the drive thru window at one
He'd done..out of the game too long and tainted..by his own doing

I dont think the NFL any longer deserves Colin. I just want him to win the suit to send the message that certain types of retaliation against people's livelihoods for exercising free expression wont be tolerated.

nothing worthwhile is ever achieved without sacrifice!!!

and,SOMETIMES,SOME people are willing to place their values above their own personal gain!

THOSE are the people who you know actually believe that what they are fighting for is the right thing,because they are willing to SACRIFICE something of value to try to make it happen.

that is A LOT different than all of these people who CLAIM that they believe in something,but aren't willing to try to do anything that might cost them something to try to make it happen,except spout off a few cheap,and empty words.

but,the people of integrity who are willing to SACRIFICE are the ones who actually change the world!!

Well when you are checking that can you see if DNA causes people to shove their views down millions of people's throat who didn't ask for them ? Maybe Colin has that ?

Like I said, NFL doesnt deserve half the talent that they exploit, let alone Colin. He opened the door to a purpose bigger than entertainment and sports, and I hope NFL learns a valuable lesson about infringing on players ability to merely quietly kneel.

If players are costing the company money, they should have every right to fire them. Like I said it will cause companies to think twice about hiring a black. Kaeps hoodrat friends have nothing to do with him playing football. That's his own personal problems that he has put on his emoloyer. I'm sure attorneys are writing agreements for other blacks to sign so they won't be sued again. Blacks are trouble makers and often hurt the company they work for. Nobody wants kaep.

What some people don't seem to understand is that the players work for the NFL and the teams they play for...it doesn't matter who or how good you are, if you causing problems at the workplace, your gonna get fired... Ray Rice, arguably the best linebacker in the league at the time, lost everything the second he knocked out his wife in the elevator.... The NFL is a workplace, not a stage to vent your problems to the world... Since Collin, an mediocre QB at best, couldn't keep his mind on football rather than American problems, was fired...not so hard to see, is it?

The people in the stadium and watching the game on T.V did not tune in to watch a protest.. they tune in to watch a football game.

The protester did not pay for the venue (stadium), his boss did.

If one was to walk into work and take a knee as the president of their company was holding a meeting, that person would be carrying their personal belongs to their car a 1/2 hour later.

Again, everyone has the right to protest, but do it on your own time.. at your own cost.. and don't force feed it to those who don't care.

He got what he deserved.

I do NYC construction jobs.. federal, state and city monies pay for the contract. . If I was to put a protest banner up at the job site,me and my entire crew would be thrown off the the job.. period.. taxpayer money or not.

Go to work.. do your job and protest on your own time. Protest all you want nobody is saying you can't.. but you pay for the air time that way if people want to hear your personal protest they can tune in

Exploit?

Were the players forced against their will into working on NFL teams. Did they not play on college teams, go thru football combines,other try outs and the draft in the hopes of making a team?

Did they not sign a contract and get paid a obscene amount of money?

Did anyone twist their arm to take the job?

Doesn't EVERY employer make money off of their employees work?

But the question is whether or not a player has the right to protest during a game. This isn't a clear-cut answer and there are different legal opinions on this.
