Twitter is permanently banning right-wing conspiracy theorist Alex Jones and his "Infowars" show for abusive behavior.

To me, it's good to hear of this. This guy is the leader of the tinfoil hat brigade and one of the biggest spewers of the hate, lies, and misinformation. Next to Trump, this guy is the definition of "Fake News".

I have no idea who Jones is but I don't like censorship. When does the book burning begin?

This is the direction I fear the USA is going. Hate spreaders like Jones fire up people. And because of it, some people react like this.

to be clear people, "free speech" relates to laws passed by Congress, not to websites with rules and regulations that people AGREE to when they sign up and have a choice about BEFORE they click yes.


they are not being arrested by the state, they are being banned from a location. Just like 'free speech' does not mean you can go into a public establishment and start threatening customers, its called disruption, and people have the right to have you removed if you are being disruptive to their establishment or website, or personal property.

Find me one website that is '1st amendment sensitive', when it means they have NO conditions or regulations on speech ...

Its like saying if I kick someone out of my house for calling another guest an insensitive name, Im not '1st amendment senstive' the first amendment expands to state and federal, not personal.

the only question is if something in THAT SITE's conditions and regulations, which are 'agreed' to when someone joins, was violated.

and your house you govern ,well unless ya call the cops in , then its all on you , i would sagest caging your dog / animals before you call them , they might fear for there lifes and shoot your tea cup poodle
