I had a recent thread go 23 pages, but it was basically 22 pages of me and another person arguing and one page of the mods telling us to knock it off...so it really doesn't count. Lol

Some days you kill them some days you don’t. Happens to all of us.

I don't have much. But what I do have is a very particular set of thread killing skills which make me a nightmare for threads like this.

I've been told if you put logic, into your thought for a post for a particular thread.....that, that sometimes may kill a thread.

<<<<has a tendency to be known to make threads die. Oh well...

I think to understand fully why and what factors cause a thread to die is to go back and do the research

I'm not volunteering!

Add reason and logic like Scoob said... it tends to die, lol.

And then there's the ultimate ego crusher and invasion of the comfort zone factor... When someone believes strongly in something and someone else poses a statement that threatens what the other one believes, there's a tendency to take either the fight or flight stance. Especially when it involves one's ego.

Could be a lot of reasons

It used to bother me when it happened to me, but I got over it... with the help of a brutally honest friend who told me... "It's not always about me"

I suggest you design a custom "ThreadKiller" award certificate and card and post it so we can print them and hang the award on the wall and flash the card at fine establishments.

Y'know like:

You can't actively try and kill threads, it just comes naturally, amateurs

In that case, I'll try harder!
