Marshall Tucker Band
Allman Brothers Band
The BAND
Lynyrd Skynyrd
Rory Gallagher
Etc., etc.....

It would be a long list. I think history will/does show that music from my era (the '70's) is the best there's ever been, back when talent was key!
That's why there's so many classic rock radio stations.

Just recently I've been into easy listening and guitar blues.
Michael Stanley, Aynsley Lister, Tony Joe White, Albany Down, Matt Schofield, Mountain, Nazareth, REO Speedwagon, Nils Lofgren, Roy Buchanan, Savoy Brown, Toto, Trampled Underfoot, Albert Cummings, Don Henley, Warren Haynes, Fleetwood Mac, Gary Moore, King King, Ruelle, Shooting Star, Band of Horses, Neil Young, Jethro Tull, Cee Cee James, Janis Joplin, Uriah Heep, David Gilmour, Elton John, Sniff 'N' the Tears, UFO, Danny Bryant, Chris Thomas King, old Golden Earring, old Styx, old Journey, The Nimmo Brothers, Lara Price Band, Snowy White...
Hadda Stop, there's so many more.
Right now I have 500 bands with over 150 GB of music (I rated 4 and above stars) on my computer and another 1 TB or so of my music collection on a 6 TB external drive as archive.
I have created 12 custom playlists with an average of 80 songs per and I listen to them every weekend. I'm also always on the look out for something new. I buy boxes of cds at flea markets, rip them and give the hardware (cds) away.

So many great bands and great music out there it's hard to narrow it done. I listen to most types of music, but metal is my favorite with much to offer. As long as it is good, I'll listen to it. happy
