when he was criticizing democrats like Hilary, but Im guessing that time is about to pass, criticizing the country savior, #45.




“My favorite three words in our Constitution are the first three words: ‘We the People,’” Powell said on Fareed Zakaria’s “GPS” on Sunday. “But recently, it’s become ‘Me the President’ as opposed to ‘We the People.’ And you see things that should not be happening.”

Powell criticized Trump for “insulting everybody,” from world leaders to blacks to immigrants to women, and for calling the media the “enemy of the people.”

“How can a president of the United States get up and say that the media is the enemy of Americans? Hasn’t he read the First Amendment? You’re not supposed to like everything the press says or what anyone says in the First Amendment, that’s why we have a First Amendment, to protect that kind of speech,” Powell said.

He was never a poster boy. He was also too dumb to realize he was being played by the Bush Administration!

I think he was, when he was being flaunted as the example of a black person people might be willing to vote for and a revered and esteemed intelligent corporal, and when he was giving a negative review of Hilary Clinton. He was the go to example of how racism is not an issue in politics. He and Condoleeza.

More a moderate poster boy.
Once upon a time people actually could be moderate.

I'd say it's very easy for the president to say the media is the enemy of Americans.

90+ of "The Media," or from whom/where most people get their "news" information, is owned by (approx) half a dozen corporations.

IMO it's little different than disparaging all the mega farm corporations like Monsanto and saying they're evil farmers, and someone coming out saying he's racist because he wants to hurt migrant farm workers since he's anti farmer.

another post from the Bizzarro world,.. For the umpteenth time he said" fake news is the enemy and he is right. You say your not supposed to like everything that's said about. True, but the media is suppose to report the news, period. Not pick and twist to meet their trump hating agenda . And anybody that doesn't see it that way is lying to themselves. Colin Powell is not the poster boy of republican. He served bush well till he got pressured by the democrats and became a thorn in the bush administration.
