I think the OP hasn't replied to recent posts due to being convulsed with laughter at how the rest of us have not spotted that the whole thing is a wind-up.

As if anyone seriously believes such complicated things when the truth is so much simpler - and well understood. laugh laugh laugh

I'm sure it is a wind-up.

But I also know there are people out there who truly believe these things. They want to distrust everyone and everything so much that they will ignore all hard evidence in favor of abstract and non-contextual arguments.

I have seen it many times here on Mingle alone.

Some of the long-timers in the political threads here could verify how stubborn some of these people are.

I am so sick of hearing retarded *** people saying the earth is flat. Every planet moon n star is round but our earth is flat. Wow. All it takes is one freakin idiot to jump up n say some dumb **** for a whole flock of idiots to follow. The struggle for intelligence is real!

I heard that recently belief in a flat earth has been increasing! Strange but true! A local group has asked a leading believer to talk to us next January. He must be a very brave man indeed. I'll report back after the meeting, watch this space.

Wow! I would bet you to send a helium balloon attached to a go pro! and a parachute to deploy after it reaches a stratosphere. Do this simple science Experiment. Earth :earth_americas: is not flat, are you even graduated from a school?

The original poster has long since gone from here. Everyone else who has posted since has fully understood that the earth is a globe, but no matter what we said, the original poster just continued to tell us we were all wrong!

So...
If i understand correctly...

All of the planets in our solar system
are spherical in shape?

But, the Earth... The Earth is flat like
the cardboard backing on cheap
store bought frozen pizzas?

That's correct. And the underworld people have to live on and around bits of burnt tomato, sticky cheese overflow, and discarded crusts, olives and anchovies. It's a dark evil foul smelling place.

But on the surface you can play billiards anywhere.

I imagine the stars are pin pricks in the dark blue velvet cover that has benm placed over the earth for some reason........

Is there someone out there willing to take up this thread and argue that the earth in indeed flat? Nothing like a good debate!

The curvature of the ocean is just the sun or moon pulling the water up by attraction.
And the curvature of flat earth is merely distortion of the optical equipment by the earth's gravity, creating an illusion.
And the very long ships built with a slight curve in the hull, are designed to 'surf' tidal waves to save fuel.
And any unidentified flying objects seen are all ball lightning hiding in swamp gas orb lights, being disturbed by flights of nocturnal ducks. spock

Perhaps we should invite a debate between flat Earther's and hollow Earther's. That might be interesting.

Maybe...
The Earth is shaped like a coffee can?

Flat on the ends, and round in the middle.

Maybe the Earth is flat but space is round?
Maybe our round brains make everything look round?

No,, flat maps showing the earth all distorted at the poles is part of the conspiracy to hide the huge holes that Admiral Bird found at both poles.

A true map should have 2 holes in it, for north and south. AND an Appendix with the map of the interior lands, with the two sky holes. Y'know - Middle Earth.

So looking at it as if the earth were rubber, and you turned it not inside out, but into a flat disc, the 'Underworld' or inside world would be on the underneath of the 'Earth'. And its internal sun would hang over it like a satellite.

You can't see the holes, and satellite pictures have a patch inserted over the holes. Try google earth, the poles are blank. Suspicious !

Notice how Earth map globes always have a hole at each pole, where the peg goes in to spin it; there's your proof, it's in your face and you never notice it, a hole at each end of the world. But only, secretly, shown on globes.
Perfect place to dump nuclear waste and micro-plastics and politicians.

Wait!
The Earth must be shaped like a giant turd.

Kinda lumpy in the middle, and pointy at
both ends.

That's nothing.

Before being blown up, planet Melmac was shaped like this:

That looks like a dented bird's egg. Sorry you lost your planet.
Alien kids shouldn't play with matches. Try not to blow up Earth.
