I was wondering the same thing Blondey ... about both of your questions.

It would appear that just as I forgot about the thread, I forgot about initiating.

As I was reading back through the thread, the main thing that came to mind was... holy cow, what happened to all that passion, excitement, and playfulness I had back then?

But it also made me laugh and smile, and reminded me that I still have that spark somewhere inside of me, I just need to flip the switch and turn it back on!

As far as initiating/making the first move goes...

1. First and foremost... Just be you!

2. Know that each prospect is different, what works for one may not work for the next one.

3. Don't take it personally if they say no... Never allow another person to take away your spark/passion for life and/or love!

... And if all else fails, get that lasso out of the attic and start practicing

Five years ago I most likely would of had a nervous breakdown before reaching the table

Today, I would actually do that!

Although, I don't see very many men who go out by themselves. Other than the grocery store or laundromat, that is. But then again, lately I lead a very boring life... work, grocery shopping, and going to the laundromat

Right now, I'm not interested in dating. With so many planets in retrograde, and especially Venus going retrograde on the 22nd, it's a time of inner reflection and renewal.

Come October... Oh yeah, I'll be getting my cute little hiney to places other than the laundromat and grocery store. It will be like launching the new me to the world

That may or may not include dating... Somehow, I'm okay with that... it doesn't appear to be as important to me to find someone as it used to be.
