laugh what about Snickers 3 musketeer Butterfingers milk duds mounds bars Charleston chews payday to name a few more

3 Musketeer? YOu kidding me? Haven't seen those in some 45 years. Not available anymore.
I Googled them, our version wasn't a bar, but a braid. Biscuit, toffee, chocolate.
I once argued about this with my British ex. He was adamant they were called something different (I forgot what) but over here they were also 3 Musketeer. Apparently not so in the UK?
I LOVED those danged sticky things, hihi. YOu always had to pull like an idiot to get that toffee to give up and let go from the rest, hihi.

This is what it looked like, I just read that later on they called it 'Curly Wurly" but you can't get them in The Netherlands, haven't seen them in some 45 years. At the time you had a tv series on the 3 musketeers, so these thingies were quite popular!
It's caramel & milk chocolate and biscuit.

Having it braided is symbolically a great choice, as a kid I never realized. But 'braided' musketeers, all for one, one for all.

Crystal, that picture you showed of a 3 Musketeers bar was a Marathon bar. It looked like that to me. I think they stopped making it a long time ago.

Googled it, and indeed!
So first it was 3 Musketeer, then it became either Curly Wurly or Marathon, depending on country I guess, and in Canada it was called different yet again: WigWag.

What you now call 3 musketeer looks like a Milky Way. I see your Milky Way has toffee, ours doesn't.
Confusing they use the same names for slightly different things in different countries?

the us three musketeers got their name because they originally came as the smaller pieces with 3 different flavors on the inside, vanila chocolate and strawberry.

Marathon would indeed be the same. It was produced by Mars, the makers of 3 Musketiers in France, Germany, and the Netherlands.

Curly Wurly looks almost exactly like what was shown on your package, but it is produced by Cadbury. However, Cadbury imports them from the UK to the US. Cadbury introduced it after Mars ceased producing their version.

USA has both Milky Way and 3 Musketeers. They are almost the same but Milky Way has a thin layer of caramel inside. They are both still being made.
