Lazy thinking causes people to go in full tilt hysteria for over 2 years, screaming every single day (with some special days put aside to "scream at the sky").

Lazy thinking causes people to form mobs to chase people out of restaurants and shopping malls. They also form mobs to chase people out of their own houses while screaming "YOU ARE NOT SAFE FROM US!" How do we stop lazy thinking when it is so easy to influence people?

That is the question of a lifetime. I honestly see the push for MORE AND MORE technology as a catalyst due to the underlying theme that 'more efficient' is better, where efficient is fast and easy (and profitable). We are pushing an underlying theme that its best to allow something ELSE to put in the bulk of effort so we can receive (allegedly) the bulk of the reward. IT is easy to think lazily when we are being so widely influenced to create technology that will think for us or keep us from thinking so hard.

I mentioned Denmark, because while I know little about politics and economics, both of which I just see as a fiddle, from what I do know about it. I like how their country is run. Those calling for socialism are manipulating your emotions, because there is no intelligent basis for it. Have you ever wondered how taking away all the money from the "rich" (which includes the middle class) helps you personally? It's just going into the pockets of those who have fooled you into thinking they give a rat's *** about your welfare.

'truth' is a very subjective idea in these days apparently.

I still am stuck in the world of academia where 'truth' is concerned, I guess. if it is a source you couldn't use on a college paper, its probably not the most credible or reliable, and it probably contains only a grain of truth that can be backed up by any source that IS reliable or FACTS that are based in clear and well documented data.

Both systems are inherently flawed for the same reasons.

Britain has capitalism too, and is equally flawed.
I guess if I'm honest, it was partly as a response to a thread about Venezuela, who it appears Team America is desperate to fix, one can only assume because of it's oil wealth.
And partly because of a video I saw, with a woman I'd never even heard of, neatly pointing out some of the rather giant flaws in capitalism as a whole, that I already knew.
