they did not HAVE to be threatened with anything. They were already providing three times as much for 1/5 as many miles of fencing than the example given of what 'hypocrisy' it was to give one third of that for border protection(not JUST The fence) in another country.

If people would learn geography, they would know that not all of the border is along territory that can have a WALL, or needs a WALL.
