I'm also trying to make a pack of rolling tobacco last 4 days. I was making that, unfortunately not anymore at the mo. I'm not giving up though.
Somehow vaping doesn't do it for me at the moment.
Blondey, it's not so much about the nicotine out of your body. That takes only 48 hours. You get sick as a dog if you go cold turkey and are a heavy smoker, but then after 2-3 days that is done.
The REAL problem is the emotional/psychological/mental addiction part. What that comes down to is getting to the reason you are addicted.
If you don't address that you'll either go for something else (drinking, eating, getting stressed out or whatever) or you'll start smoking again.
It does help to smoke outdoors as then you're in the light. When you need a smoke, you actually need light. Life-energy. Light IS life energy.
Which again ties in with the: WHY do you need to smoke/be addicted? What's behind it? Because that reason is what is blocking the light coming in.
I'm not doing cold turkey ever again. Did that once, f*(k was I sick and devoid of energy. I know that's only 2-3 days of feeling totally miserable, but it were about the worst 2-3 days of my entire life!
So I rather wean myself off it first. Then I can quit in one go without getting sick.
I did quit years ago, for 3 years, with ease, but I was not smoking so much then. Didn't get sick at all, nor put on weight. That's where I'm trying to get by seriously cutting back first.
