There are several parts to it:

3rd, when you do make a mistake (we all do) admit it, correct your future behavior, and make amends to those you injured.

Sounds really simple and easy but one of the most difficult in life to accomplish!

I think the last advise sums to a definition with 1 to 3 as details. In other words, in a dating context; it's easy to love a person, not so easy to take responsibility.

So responsibility goes a little beyond love, because we have the knowledge that love may fade, or one may find a new love, (it's human nature). So then responsibility means doing the best one can while in love.
