Is any one good at interpreting dreams.
I've had the same dream twice recently.
It starts off, I am in the supermarket, when I realize that I am totally without cloths.
no one seems to take much notice of the fact, in fact everything else is normal.
I am trying to get home desperately, but people keep engaging me, someone asks for directions, someone else asks the time, there is a large delivery when I get home.

I must have insecurities I guess.
Surfacing from the murky recesses of my unconscious.

Does any one else have this sort of dream?

I understand the 'naked' dream is fairly common..
though the reasons may differ.

It expresses vulnerability, virtual or psychological
(maybe the sheets fell off you in the night?) and
the dream expresses your thoughts (at your most
vulnerable=naked.)

I had a dream for over 30 years, nearly nightly, and
I was always working it, trying to figure it out..one day
it came to me..and the dream NEVER returned once I knew
the source.

That was even weirder.
(I spent some time in psychoanalysis..freaking
fascinating!)

thanks for your words.

I suppose it means emotionally speaking, I am not the unshakable bastion of stability I assume I am.

As long as I don't start sleep walking as well.:)

I would never presume to know the reasons hahahaha
When I was a kid we had this hallway that was surrounded by doors
and a see-through long wall heater.

When my parents had parties I would sneak out into the hall to listen
through the heater.

When I could not escape in time (someone passing through to the bathroom)
I pretended to be sleep-walking...they buy it to this day ;-)

I'm kind of good with my own dreams, but not anyone else. Everyone is different. Many people have the same kind of dream but it depends on who you are and what is going on in your life.

It's possible, that you're either recalling a stressful event.
Or, you're facing a future stressful event.

Author/public figure, Edgar Cayce,
might be an entertaining place, to start
dream analysis research.

Freud stated that dreams were simply feelings places or things you witnessed in life magazines images basically imprinted in your memory that come together in your subconscious created during the REM stage of sleep.

A combination of what both soufie and Rock said. Trying desperately to get home suggests trying to avoid a stressful event and being naked is about vulnerability. Having the dream twice suggests unresolved issues concerning something, can be either from something in the past or feeling anxiety/discomfort about something about to happen.

For me when I have re-occurring dreams it's something that's bothering me. The answers/meaning to dreams lie within and I've found that it's usually one of the first thing that comes to me when I ask "what was that was about?".

My opinion and thoughts only... You're the best source of what your dreams mean.

Much of what's said but I like to add to it, based on the fact that you say that no one notices the fact that you're naked.
It's up to you to feel if it resonates or not.
Not feeling heard or seen when you express yourself / your feelings openly.
In other words: when you feel you open up, make yourself vulnerable, show the real you, people don't even notice.
When it upsets you and you want to go into 'hiding', people don't even notice you feel awkward and hassle you for stuff. So again your feelings not being seen/acknowledged.

Thanks for your thoughts peeps.
It's good to get perspectives from people.
I guess I have spent a lot of time in solitary these last few months.
Quite cheerful, and positive in my day to day life. just a bit cut off from friends/family, I still see them, just not so much.
thank you crystal, probably quite close to the mark..:)

It clearly means that you want to have sex with your mother and kill your father
And then eat a bacon Burger, whilst wondering what certain folks would look like in s Nazi uniform, in a Herman Goerring , J Edgar Hoover fashion
You need the rapist

:) You recon I've got a split personality thing going on?

I must admit I am in two minds about whether to talk to a doctor about it. :)

Hun, if that is your worst problem, go take a nap.
Keep dreaming until you find clothes.

Dreams, I think, are just like the valve on a pressure cooker,
it only pops up when the pressure rises ;-)

That for sure! But sometimes it is also meant to be a helpful message. That's why it can help to write down what you dream.
I also have dreams that I know aren't messages at all, but more digesting things, or because of watching a freaky movie or something. No point in writing those down really (at least I don't think so.)
But I had a recurring dream a few months back, and it started to get up my nose. The setting kept changing, what went down was the same.
Then I decided to heed it, looked into it, and the meaning was spot on for what I'm currently going through.
I worked on it. Told Spirit I got the message, that I didn't need it anymore, and shifted my focus to how I could get get a solution to the message. Focusing on the next step.
I have not had that dream anymore after I clearly stated I got the message. And I'd had it for some 6-8 times I think. I even began dreading going to bed, haha, not wanting that dream again.
But I haven't.

Perhaps you feel vulnerable in some way? Just be yourself. If the same dream keeps occurring I would research it. Reminds me of having reoccurring dreams of being surrounded by water when I was in my mid 30s. I finally took swim lessons and the dreams stopped.

Without reading what others have said, here is how I might interpret it based on what I've learned about psychology:

You lay yourself bare to people, an open book, but nobody cares. They only take notice of you when they actually want or need something from you. It stresses you out, makes you feel anxious, so you want to get home where you can relax. But even when you do get home, you never get a chance to unwind because there is always something else you need to take care of or do.
