I have heard that ... did put a cardinal statue on my dads grave ...
have a few in my yard ... I miss my one single one ... hope he comes back this fall :>)

Used to have a pair of African greys and a loft full of all sorts loads of Finch's and some java sparrows

Hummingbirds are fun to watch. When I lived 10 miles from here, had a few feeders set up for them. They were very active in the summer.

My favorite bird is my friend Joey, a very handsome Harris Hawk

Bird lovers . Over the years I’ve had MANY. Finches, canaries, cockatiels, love birds ( my fav), Senegal’s, military macaw and currently I have a coffin cockatoo and a Indian ring neck. Loves these buggers to death. Tho I would love to rescue an older African grey or perhaps an umbrella cockatoo.

I love birds ... feed them ... the red bird might be a cardinal ... but u might know more ...they are are our state bird ... I try and know the bird and look up if I don't know ... ck out the Audubon on line pretty cool ... I have spiritual cards for the animals and what they might mean if u see one for yourself ... fun...
