A common question I ask myself every time I get a new like, or receive a message on these apps, lol.
But sincerely... would there really ever be an ‘it’?

'It' can happen anywhere, anytime, so indeed it could be here.
Thing is, keep your eyes and heart open, you may miss it ;-)

Oh this is why I’m as open minded, as I’m optimistic... Life has a lot of beautiful things I’ve seen, and felt firsthand. Finding the right one to share most of these things with, will be great.
Thanks... I’d keep both eyes :eyes: peeled.

Movies? They only work as long as it lasts

You never know your luck on a dating site the very next one could be 'it', just be careful, make sure they are genuine by meeting up as soon as possible, and beware of the storytellers.

Sure it is possible. More and more people find love via a dating site.
It may help to find a dating site that matches you to begin with. That has the type of people that resonates with you.
Going for a newer dating site that's popular can help too.
The one that is the biggest in my country is not for me. Doesn't have the 'assortment' that resonates with me. I've become a member 2x, never again. Waste of money.
Tinder seems to be rather nice, although I don't like a phone-only site.
On here, there's also people who have found lasting love.

If you get your hopes up and think "Is this going to be it!?!" each time someone just likes you, you're not going to last long.
I don't even go on a date with that thought. I replaced it with "I'm going for a drink with someone and have some fun."
Of course you remain positive about it all, but if you get your hopes up too high before even having met someone you are going to get so disappointed every time. Why do that to yourself?
Lower the stakes. You may have a nice chat (online), you may have a nice afternoon (date). The likes you welcome and appreciate, I even say or think 'thank you'.
If there's someone you like as well, message them. If not, be grateful for the interest and keep looking for a potential Mrs Right.

I sincerely I’m heart warmed by all these responses lately, this does show there’d definitely be true progress from all of this. Well, about keeping hopes up, my priorities have always been straight, and I am well aware of the circumstances and possibilities of life’s experiences and chances. Hope, this is a gift that comes with life, but most people lack this. I don’t.

Positivity is key to success in all things, it might not be that perfect “Mr.right”. But if you hold on to that positive thought, you’d find yourself crossing paths with a lot of positive people. Good luck to you as well:hugging:

Hi Raymond, it's definitely possible. I met someone on a dating site. We've only been dating for 7 months but it's good. Don't set too many limitations, be open to new possibilities.
