Depends how you deliver honesty. If someone is honest to me in a very blunt way, like a brick to the face, I'm not chuffed about it.
There honesty, but there also such a thing as subtlety.
And timing.

And some things you simply don't say.
It's also honest to say "My @$$ is itching, lemme scratch."
Just an exaggerated example of how honesty can be unpleasant, not wanted, blundering things out.

I'm not an expert on the subject, but you might want to tone down your profile a little bit. You can get your point across in a more subtle way and men will still know that you are self-sufficient. Good luck and stick around....there is someone out there somewhere.
