The state of Israel was created by the British in 1948 and truman recognised the state the same day.
It was the first Jewish state in over 2000 years
Might have known the Brits were involved ohwell The Balfour agreement kicked it off then, which led to the Nakba I think, just read this..

"The Balfour Declaration, which resulted in a significant upheaval in the lives of Palestinians, was issued on November 2, 1917.

The declaration turned the Zionist aim of establishing a Jewish state in Palestine into a reality when Britain publicly pledged to establish "a national home for the Jewish people" there.

The pledge is generally viewed as one of the main catalysts of the Nakba - the ethnic cleansing of Palestine in 1948 - and the conflict that ensued with the Zionist state of Israel".

Palestinians are still suffering today due to it, with home demolitions summary executions unlawful detentions illegal settlements and all sorts of other injustices...

Your right, we did but I don't agree with the way it's gone since with the new settlements that Israel perusing. We have little or nothing to do with it now, it's the American influence that has given them the green light for that. All boils down to money, big Jewish influence in America and massive arms sales.
They really need to get over what happened but not forget.

Totally agree, America is complicit in what is going on, every day a new atrocity, yet the world remains silent, I guess money does talk.

I'm not sure why the rest of the world stays out of it. maybe because a lot of them don't like jews, maybe some don't like the Palestinians. The stigma of the 'PLO' is still relatively freah and another reason is no one is 100% sure if Israel have the bomb! !

They were active at the Munich Olympics, can't remember the year but they killed many of the israely team. Israel spent year's tracking down the terrorists and got everyone of them, killing them in whatever country they were hiding in! Now who else would get away with that? Good though!

I remember the theme song. So sad. x
That was the PLO in Munich, it was The Stern I mentioned..

Stern Gang, also called Stern Group or Lehi, formally LoαΈ₯amei αΈ€erut YisraΚΎel (Hebrew: β€œFighters for the Freedom of Israel”), Zionist extremist organization in Palestine, founded in 1940 by Avraham Stern (1907–42) after a split in the right-wing underground movement Irgun Zvai Leumi.

That's me off to the beer garden, enjoy your day..smokin

I think most stay out cos they fear the Israelis.
And I think most don't even know what to make of that entire situation over there.
Many are pro-Israel for what the 'evil' Palestines do to them, and vice versa.
Now here someone says the land used to belong to the Jews. What I know is it DIDN'T.
The Jews came from elsewhere, just claimed that land as their promised land and the people who already lived there were removed and/or killed off.
From what I know the Palestines used to live there, were driven out, murdered, and now have to basically chuck rocks at the sophisticated army of Israel.

Some tell the story the other way round, which is odd.
It's a bit of an endless story. As long as I can remember there has been war over there. Every frigging day on the news most of the time was spent on Israel.
And all that to-do is so pointless. Same as Temple mountain and everyone claiming it's their holy spot.

I guess it's better to go to the beer garden than to worry about this, hihi.

There is a difference between anti semitism, ie hatred against the jewish religion, and opposing the state of Israel. They are warmongers imo. But nothing wrong with being a Jew and practise the religion ... as long as you are able to accept other religions or beliefs.
'evil' Palestines. ohwell
I wish I could handle this like you baby christal
