I totally agree with it and actually feel it's ridiculous we have to hide it among helmets and such. No one in their right mind would wear a balaclava when out and about, and the burka is actually worse!
It is a one-piece veil that covers the face and body, often leaving just a mesh screen to see through, so you can not even see the eyes.
Years ago, when shopping for shoes for my little girlie, I turned around and stood nose to nose with a woman in a dark purple burka. Scared the Bejesus out me!
When in Marrakech, there as one area where most women wore them, we didn't feel comfortable at all. It's like hide and seek, but then hiding in a tent as opposed to behind the settee. It's just scary.
Plus, you can carry loads of weapons underneath it.

Apart from all that, it just doesn't fit in our society, and to be quite frank, if they don't want to integrate they shouldn't have come here.
So yes, I'm totally for it.
Also for no more headscarves in public/government buildings. I think that's already law. I believe they're also busy with banning Moslim schools as there they teach anti-Western things instead of the normal school stuff that is required.

There is always the option of passing legislation requiring mandatory participation in celebrating Halloween. I am sure making it mandatory for all mosques to purchase atleast 50 pounds of candy while people carrying toilet paper, eggs, and pillowcases roam the streets in a wide assortment of masks would lead to better understanding of masks in different cultures.

 Food for thought but legislation or not; isn't it the minority provoking the majority to react!!
And very soon native Europeans become powerless in their countries; like Hindus in India.

Definitely, I also think it will lead to more 'far right ' movements in Europe
They are already rising in Germany, Italy and other parts. People are not so much opposed to their religious beliefs it's that they don't want to be taken over by them! France has a major problem with it although if you watch most European media it's not reported.
As usual, they only report on what they want you to see. Definitely the case with us as we are leaving Europe. they want to show Europe as a great place!

Logical you get more right movements, it's a natural reaction. I have nothing against these people but it shouldn't be that we are overrun by them, and as it is we are.
The amount that come and -with thousands more wanting to come- ruins our countries and everything we had.

In addition to Halloween, Chinese New Years celebrations might work as well. Those "masks" the Chinese wear that take four or more people to occupy can easily smuggle in a food service trailer full of sweet and sour pork to leave in a mosque.

^^^ Was thinking the same, would it apply to nuns also?
Brings this to mind..

"First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak outโ€”because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak outโ€”because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for meโ€”and there was no one left to speak for me".

A nun? Have you ever seen a nun with her face covered???

None!

I agree withe Crystal. It makes them look kind of furtive.

It seems to me that its function is to inhibit women from exercising their female birth right.
Under the guise of preventing the " upstanding men" from becoming inflamed by the bestial urges.
I mean it takes a lot more than a pair of eyes and a nose to inflame my bestial urges ( could be my age) May be we should push for a compromise.

They can wear the mask as long as they wear hot pants. I think that's fair.

Why not just adopt a combination of mideivel culture and "butterface" rules. Mideivel culture was that a woman only need her wrists and ankles covered. Rules for the butterface (everything looks good but-her-face) means wearing a mask. So basically they would just walk around wearing four ace wraps and a ski mask. atleast that way you know she isn't smuggling anything.
