choose 1 nd give reason

real money i can hold in my hand or put in a bank and have it federally backed (at least here in the usa)

bit coin is a digital wallet that can be turned off , is not backed , data is kept in clouds that steve jobs tried to warn people about before he died

..................

real money in a bank i get a receipt to show said numbers

bit coin sure you can do a screen shot or print a receipt , but who do you take it to , to collect , who has the backing

..................

real money once a bank is hacked , it has its paper work to fall back on to keep its records right

bit coin gets hacked ? ? ? and again who do you go back to , to collect

but any who that was my outlook a long time ago , way back when it started ...i have not looked at it in a while

What Datwasn'tme said makes a lot of sense.
I'm not interested in it whatsoever. I don't even know how it works.
I've come across a shop that accepted it, which surprised me. Something about it doesn't feel right to me so I won't go there.
It is bad enough as it is that you barely get to see real money since most is done electronically. Adding another thing to it, a weird one at that, not for me.

I not only agree with Dat, but I also question how difficult it would be on keeping a ledger. If I for instance buy a two dollar item with local money, I am used to knowing what two dollars is. The last I checked, it takes eleven thousand USD to buy one Bitcoin. How would two USD be expressed in my checkbook in Bitcoin?

What???? Holy f*(k!!! I didn't know that!
Highest ever was $13.000 (E10.000) noway

So (as per usual) it's another thing for the rich and famous.
Also means if somehow they lose value you lose an awful lot.

Or getting your inheritance in BTC.
"Here son, are my life savings for you!" --> 2 BTCs laugh laugh
Does mean you keep your life savings in one pocket, lol
