Matches keep geting deleted unecessarly and abruptly. When the match is trying to communicate the page goes to the same telling me the match partner ID has been deleted.

they were scammers thrown out by admin.

consider other options to find potential matches...such as using the search feature of Mingles to identify locals who meet your criteria...

Maybe try who's online at the time, and in your area, that's probably your best bet, good luck

Exactly, they don't last long
BUT
They'll be back, you just won't know it because they'll have a different photo and location.
Personally I find them amusing, like to have fun with them and after you learn to recognize them they're very obvious. Mostly because they're too lazy or stupid to write their own or new stuff, they just repeat the same scripts over and over.
I've seen them get kicked off of here and be back on in 15 minutes.

I've been getting an unreal number of "user deactivated" messages. Could that be the explanation?

that's the same message you'd get if they blocked you, so there's no straightforward way to tell whether the profile is really deleted or they blocked you.
