I think there is a meteor shower tonight. Perseids. I'm not sure if anyone already posted this but it's a current event.

When I was a a kid, my sister and I always slept outside in the summer at least once in the backyard. We had sleeping bags and watched shooting stars. The cat came by wondering what we were doing, but always a good time.

The meteor shower is happening between the 17th July to 24th August (with peak viewing around 13th August ).... Best place to locate the constellation is above the horizon and away from city lights .

I'm sleeping outside tonight. No rain in sight.

It didn't go great last night. I had a lawn chair and blankets. I fell asleep. Woke up in the middle of the night and a deer was standing 10 feet away from me. I got startled, he got startled.
