This is indeed a very interesting topic and the replies are very interesting. We must believe God rather then men, says the Holy Bible. God created men from the Dust of the Ground and breath life into his nostril, and he became a living soul. So, when the body was completed, God added words and thoughts to the body, and man became a living Soul. A Silver and Golden Cord are added to connect the body with the soul spiritually.
When we die the cord is broken and the soul with its consciousness leave the body and goes UP (to GOD) for judgment and regenerates.
The soul of the animal goes DOWN, for their is no judgement for him, and thereafter he also regenerates into a new body.
