I think we all learned about Match, one way or another. Match getting sued? Makes me wonder why it took so long. If it turns into a class action suit, I'd bet that would put them under.

Well, technically, they haven't "been found to have engaged in fraud." They've just been charged, so far.

Hope this does pan out, though. I REALLY don't like those guys. For those reasons.

Interesting, but when you read their terms of service, when joining, they spell out pretty clearly the limits of their liability, including not taking blame for the behavior of other users (scammers). Good luck winning this fight.

There are many sites where they have robotic scripts that message you and strike up conversations. They say it's done to make the site fun and engaging, but these same sites charge you for the extended services, so while you're on the site for free, these bots send you all sorts of nice messages, and make you think you're God's gift to women. You can subscribe, and you'll still just be the guy getting flirty notes from bots. It's actually all there in the T.O.S. but somebody impatient or lazy or partially illiterate will miss that. I guess their subscription fees are just another tax for being stupid. Like lottery tickets.

but yet they had out free 3 days passes(full access the many scammers that i talked to) if i remember that sight right

Actually, I think lottery tickets might be a better deal. At least there's a glimmer of hope that you might have a very remote chance of breaking even.

How about get rid of the scammeres, and fake profiles, and gave just REAL f**kin' people on there actually looking to meet other people..??

Now, THAT would be "fun and engaging".. mad

hhhmm i think the same people would think implementing ai bots would be a good idea too

watched a program the other night on ai , it started off with sex bots (glad i didnt they showed later you could wear a helm in one room and in another room the ai would show you the face of the human pic you where looking at) , so i all most turned it off , but any who , did ya know top of the line sex bots come with an app for your cell , so you can talk to them while you are away from them ? ?

sadly i dont see a way to get rid of the scammers and fakes
as long as people are maken money from scamming, it wont end (i could get more in tec with this, but i dont want to learn the scammers)
and as long as there are people thinking its funny to play people, that will never end : (

sorry but no it wouldn't be any more fun.
look at the real traffic on any site you have membership with. 2weeks tops top roll thru any currently active locals you might be interested in and then maybe one or 2 new ones a month in that same local area

Well all know that sites live off of advertising money. And the more members a site claims to have the more ad bucks it can get. Therefor there's no incentive for a site to seriously look for and get rid of scam profiles.

I was a "free lifetime charter member" of another site. They booted me for reporting too many fake profiles. They went belly up not long after.
