So yeah who are your favorite rappers? Old school I like Mobb Deep, Jeru the Damaja, Ghostface, Raekwon, GZA, UGK, and basically everything from Memphis like pre-sellout Three 6 Mafia, Tommy Wright III. New school I like Lil Ugly Mane and I also surely have a spot for some of this trap and autotune stuff that people dismiss - Travis Scott, Young Thug, and Future have some amazing songs that have pushed the boundaries of music.

I also have a soft spot for west African dancehall music like Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, etc. - spending a summer in Ghana doing a research project got me really into this stuff. Albums and mixtapes not good, but some solid singles for sure.
