Well, if you ever get a chance to watch The Mandalorian for free, I highly recommend it.

What is it about?

It takes place about 5 years after the events of Return of the Jedi. The story follows a bounty hunter dressed in Mandalorian body armor similar to Boba Fett as he collects bounties in a universe where the Empire has dwindled down to almost nothing. It has a wild west feel to it.

I have all the SW films plus the off-shoots and the fan films.
Not because I love SW but because I collect movie sets.
I've had the Mandalorian for almost a year now.
Frankly I'm glad the triple trilogy is over.
Those last few films were garbage but most of the others are close to that.

As far as I am concerned Star Wars (1977) is the only SW film worth seeing in a theater. A 1977 theater at that.

Over the years I have been in some heated Star Wars/Star Trek discussions and Star Trek always wins, ALWAYS.

But, personally, I have problems with Star Trek too. Mainly the writers. They ain't no Gene Roddenberry that's fer sure.
Comparatively, George Lucas was a moron.
Star Wars isn't science fiction it is pure fantasy set in science fiction.
What science there is usually gets hidden by the large saturation of psuedo-science and impossible scale.
But the latest Star Trek movie does exactly the same thing.
Science fiction written by morons.

So yeah, the first season of the show wrapped up and I'm looking forward to season 2.
