I just accidentally bought a vegie 'burger' from Hungry Jacks / Burger King.
I specifically wanted some meat, (no rude jokes please).
There was no warning that it was a vegie based thing.
It needs a warning, meat eaters could go into shock or have fits.
I was looking forward to a tasty 'meal'.

What a travesty of a concoction.
I feel so sorry for vegans' taste buds.
They probably don't know any better than tasteless cardboard offerings.
After flooding it with chili sauce at home it had some flavour, but was still awful. I ate most of it anyway. Yuk. 3/4 way through - in the bin.

Even when I have deliberately bought a vegan/vego product to try, most of it has found its way to the bin. No amount of special herbs and spices and sauces has ever made that garbage tasty enough to want more.

Give me burnt dead animal any day.

Don't you realise that with every step you take, every scratch itched, every hand washing, bath or shower, you commit genocide on millions of living creatures, by your own personal actions. You are already mass murderers, why not eat a bit of lamb, bovine, goat, chook, or whatever.
Leave the bats alone.

And label your fake meat as if it was poison.

I won't be a zombie.
Plus, I have a brain-protection kit.

On the upside, most zombies will starve to
death.

On the downside, most zombies will starve to
death.

I thought about putting it here, but:
It's not a recipe, more a sick chemistry;
it's not 'cooked', like proper cooking;
but it does belong in the garden, under a compost heap.

I am a true meat eater, I do not believe in vegetarian life-style as of yet. Not in a forced way anyways like those green people often try to do.
I have, however, had some vegetarian burger things that were really quite good.
Of course if you are in the mood for real meat it is not the right time to go for that.
But some things are yummie, depends on the brand and your personal taste. There's differences depending on the brands.

The problem is I really need meat too. Whenever I have had a vegetarian dinner I get hungry again after 1-2 hours.
You get such meals in spiritual centres. I've had that happen, included in the price. Very tasty too, but not totally fulfilling. And sometimes with tofu chunks, YUK! And tofu is very unhealthy.

Thing is, when you've been busy with spiritual work for a longer period of time you don't crave meat so much anymore. It becomes too heavy to digest as the body changes.
I know from experience, so these stories are correct.
But to entirely go without meat-products... that spiritual centre, where I sometimes spent a week including sleeping & meals, didn't have milk either.
THAT drove me up the wall. No milk for 6 days on end is NOT doable.
