Weird response. Are you reading the innards of animals?

That's not one of my skills. This tends to be a practice used by societies that still have animal sacrifice. It evolved in hunter-gatherer societies in the Neolithic where the hunters used to gut animals after killing them in the wild and then ate the more perishable parts such as the liver.
The appearance of the liver of an animal is quite a good way of guaging it's health and this appears to be the basis of the idea.

The world has changed and will not be the same afterwards and that this is a gift and a blessing.

I don't think one would have to do much divining to figure that out.

Possibly. But on the face of it, a pandemic isn't generally a good thing so to be told that it is does raise some questions.
I began divining when rumours of a new pandemic began circulating. I like to test my interpretive abilities against major events but I thought that I'd like to see what other practicing diviners had found.

You can look at it as a good thing because it helps reduce the number of people on an overpopulated world.

Even if this was regarded as a good thing, as far as I can tell this is not the blessing referred to. What that might be, I'm not yet certain but it's a more positive thing than reducing the human population by a few hundred thousand.
