not sure where you are sourcing your information but Africa has not defeated carona virus ., your exposure to the disease is a few weeks behind the rest of the world but already you have a staggering number of cases . The concern for your country is your health system .... how do you feel it will cope ???

africa has also not defeated Ebola .... which is a very dangerous disease and currently still active in the Congo . To be honest there are many diseases your country has not defeated.

Sadly .. Africa also has one of the highest death rates for under five year olds in the world . Many of your children are under nourished and suffering .

To be a super power takes much more than strength . Your country has a long hard journey ahead in terms of what is to come.

I don't hardly think so, just off the top of my head and easily documented: you can look back 2000 years ago at African culture and you'll see people living in mud and straw huts, the same 2000 years ago you'll see European cultures with beautiful classic architecture. Fast forward to the present and by golly many Africans are living in those same huts but yet Europe and most of the rest of the world have evolved.

Hmmm... not a superpower, we don't need another 'superpower', a country who thinks they're god. But the fact that Africa is doing the way it's doing has an impact on the rest of the world. It actually should be doing better.
One of the huge Leylines that is very important for the world runs through Africa, all the way from the pyramids to South-Africa. And this line is incredibly damaged, which resulted in an Africa the way it is, but it affects us too. Tremendously so. Just that most people don't know this or aren't open to this information.

I also think these people can bring us a lot as they're not tainted so much by Western civilisation. Many have a smartphone, but often there's only one in the village with electricity where everyone goes to charge it.
They don't have a McDonalds on every corner. Western food is one of the things that ruins health and societies (meat and stuff steeped with hormones), although the USA has dumped GM grain in countries there.
But Africans still have naturally healthy bodies and health, possibly the only place left on Earth.

So no, Africa shouldn't be a superpower, but it should take its rightful place on the planet and be equally powerful. In order for that they have to sort out their problems and the way they view wealth, human life etc.

Sorry but that's rather narrow-minded. You cannot gauge the evolving of a people by 'classical architecture'.
Valuing that is typically Western and doesn't mean it's THE reference point. It just depends on what you value.
Native Americans, Aboriginals, Africans, Inuit, Maori, and so on have no 'classical' architecture yet they have/had incredibly evolved cultures, based on different values and norms than ours.
There are more important values in life than "classical architecture".

If european countries hadn't helped themselves to much of africa for hundreds of years, it could well have been, and can still be a super power.
Get education, organisation, and plans happening. Get tribal divisions out of politics and governments, and the armed forces, so everyone is treated equally. Fighting only enriches arms sellers. Cooperation enriches everyone.

You have diverse ecosystems, rains, fertile soils, thousands of local plant based foods to develop, and millions of people to make it work.
When outsiders want to 'help', beware.

You yourself "Bulldozer de King" are 25 y/o so you're adult and you're a little tiny guy at just 5 feet tall and probably what? 110 - 120 pounds? To me this indicates that you likely didn't have the greatest nutrition growing up, you live in a land of great natural resources but where someone would kill you for a Kit-Kat bar and Idi Amin probably ate your grandfather. I'm afraid as a nation you're far off the super power mark. Keep trying. Good luck.

The term superpowers is used to describe countries that have a dominant position that influences much of the globe. A country that has advantage in the four axes of power. These are military, economic, political, and cultural.

Africa cannot be a superpower but a country within Africa could be but isn't and won't be until they have the advantage in military, economic, political, and cultural influence globally.

China, France, Russia, the United Kingdom and the United States are often referred to as great powers by academics due to "their political and economic dominance of the global arena". These five nations are the only states to have permanent seats with veto power on the UN Security Council.

Well, Africa is almost three times the size of Europe, with a longer history of invasion and oppression than Europe, so I think it is hard to compare the two in the terms of who 'should' be a superpower.

We are also at a disadvantage in the Western World of history being reported by the Western World, and having a bit of 'victor' bias because of it. I am not sure what housing materials has to do with power. I am not sure if caves are better than 'huts'. But that is talking about history and not all the things between which lead to today's status.

Also, when talking about what 'should' happen or be happening, it is hard to say.
When I look up 'superpower', I get this definition:

For me, at least, cultural priorities play a huge impact on whether these things happen. The interest or will of a person or people to WANT to be an influence, or have 'power', let alone 'superpower' may not be something that can be known, or should be highly valued. If the African countries were interested enough to exert military force over other nations (or want to), or to conquer, oppress, or 'discover' them, or to control their own natural resources as a means of profit for their own, or play a part in 'western' politics and/or culture, they COULD have more nations with 'superpower' status. After all, Egypt could have once been considered a 'superpower', and it is an African country.

The continent IS rich in natural resources like gas, oil.platinum, and gold.

But as another posted, I am not sure I want to see Africa as a 'superpower', but an 'equal' power.

Africa; is rich in resources, has abundant natural beauty, and millions of resourceful people. It also has lots of abject poverty, rampant disease, tribalism derived civil wars, multiple acts of genocide, and corrupt incompetent leadership.

Until these things are overcome most of Africa will remain a "third world" continent.

And now selling themselves to the Chinese don't forget, always corrupt leaders selling for there own gain

Again, I do not know that poverty is the issue, and we can't compare a continent with individual nations.

Yet, China is considered a 'superpower'.

Tribalism is another western concept applied only to AFrica, but many nations have their form of 'tribalizsm' They just call it 'social status' or 'financial status'.

Corruption(Russia) and incompetence(USA) are also found in so called 'superpower' countries.

At the root of the African countries being risen above 'third world' status is the need to become economically stable, and the will to utilize their own resources to achieve it.
