think It would be a very useful tool for finding compatible partners ...also promote honesty & would be a relief for many to get a difficult embarrassing subject dealt with.

About 80% of the population has herpes type 1 somewhere on their bodies, MOUTH, eyes, fingers, arms/legs or ...bottom area (very popular nowadays)
About 30% of the population has herpes type 2 you know where, DOWN THERE mostly.

Herpes is permanent, always shedding virus, always a risk to cuts, abrasions & mucus membranes, even in the absence of an outbreak & even on an antiviral drug or asymptomatic.

Hi Stephen, Thanks for the data set and reality check on this very common phenomena which often makes us modern lepers (dating reality). I want to tell you there is a site, POSITIVESINGLES.COM, dedicated to herpes carriers. I believe it is about $15 a month. Honestly, I never met anyone there, I live in New Mexico but it is probably the most successful site of that kind.

Peace and God speed!
