I feel sorry for poor Maggie. She puts all the effort into hunting mice and more often than not, Gomez will come along and hijack her kill. Typical male cat.

My cat is inside she gets her food from the grocery store, like me!

Females do get theirs.

Two cats were sitting in my yard, a female Siamese and a male of mixed heritage . After sizing each other up for a while, and taking a few playful swipes, the Siamese ran under my upturned fishing boat. The male followed. She sent him a few more seductive swipes from under the boat . That Tom sat next to that boat for over three quarters of an hour, not realizing that she had run out the other side. Poor guy. No nookie for him.

All my four are outdoor cats, still they bring in prey ... including a fish that was almost bigger than Lenny himself
