I don't see why anyone would be interested in my list.
I don't see why people here wouldn't. You're a part of the community. Your opinions and likes/dislikes are just as relevant as anyone else...and don't let others tell you different.
Like Tom, I find it difficult to narrow down a list to a top 5. You have so many good actors; some simply within a specific genre without equal while others work in multiple films across the spectrum. I'd like to attack this topic from a slightly different angle.
Martial Artist - Probably the most accomplished, that I'm aware of, would be Jackie Chan. An accomplished singer and dancer in his early career, his "Drunken Master / Bumbling Fool" repertoire is so much more difficult to pull off rather than someone playing it straight. Then add in his previous exuberance for doing his own stunts, along with all the damage that resulted from it, catapults him to the top of the list even though he may not be the fastest, strongest or biggest man in the ring.
Real-Life Recreations - If I was going to pick one actor to play me in the story of my life, I would want it to be Johnny Depp. Every time I see him do a real-life character (Blow, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Black Mass) and watch the behind-the-scenes interviews with the real people they all say that they were exceptionally happy with the recreation. Even though these movies have been done years after the real-time events happened, you can still see the mannerisms of the individual that Depp mirrored. If you need a runner-up, I'd have to pick Christian Bale for the same reason (Public Enemies).
The Seductress - Although she doesn't have the best figure, softest face nor that petite frame most people might deem necessary, my nominee for ultimate seductress would have to go to Lauren Bacall. That smoky voice and that fiery attitude really gets the heart a-pounding. She could teach me how to whistle anytime.
