Yes it is true. Cats can sense if you are sick and pick up on there owners behavior.

If the owner of a cat is somebody who visit people when they're sick. Then the cats themselves will be a person that visits their owner when their owner is sick or even pregnant.

Search YouTube for cat videos about people being sick or pregnant to see what I mean. It's a very well documented phenomenon
