What are you parting?

Parting out junk cars?

Parting from your evil ways?

Parting rope?

Inquiring minds want to know...

An archer showing his string fingers; maybe he is parting apples with arrows.

I think he was saying the 80's music was great, and he's still partying; so hard he can't type.

In my opinion, the 80's music was the worst decade of music in my lifetime until the 2010's

Depends, as I was into house and acid house music and some of the best tunes in that genre was from the mid to late 80's mate. All depends what your taste in music is though!:sunglasses::notes::headphones:

I respect everyone's opinion. No doubt, we all have different tastes. I'm sure there were genres and sub genres of music that I missed. I based my list on a quick review of what the decades represented to me, musically. When I think of the 80's it's that regrettable synth pop crap that always pops into my head first.

There were certainly a few artists that created great music in that decade.

Aye I know what you're talking about. It's just I got into House music and learned to DJ back then and was doing my own mixes also. A hobby that I still do to this day mate:thumbsup::sunglasses:

My teenage years were all in the 80's. I had the radio on almost all the time. I listened to two great rock stations and luckily they had good mix of 60's, 70's and 80's

Yeah there were many gems in the 80's, but drowned out by all the garbage.

40's was still old school
50's started to rock (quietly), unless with electric guitars
60's was a revelation and explosion of diversity, and new equipment
70's was excellent, far out man, cool, groovy, and good folk music
80's was commercially produced radio filler mostly, glam rock, and bad rap
90's heavy metal heaven, grunge, good pop, diversity returning
00's was mostly boring for me, except for metal and electronica
10's some interesting stuff, too much sampling,
20's so far pretty stifled by covid19, but bedroom production diversity will explode

internet killed the video star, and video store;
