Dogs love routine so if you want to stop him barking .. try distracting him and make a new routine .. have a play session or take him for a run . waving

This is great advice!! I would add that at some point he has decided he has an incentive to do this so try to avoid rewarding him in any way (touch/talk/eye contact or food can be reinforcing rewards!!) soon after he does it and to try the new routine or exercise before 12!!
