@ Ibaceltic, sorry I missed your posting! And yes, walls, books, crystals, ceiling, etc etc all gets yellow & yukkie. Window washing is going to be SO much nicer, hahaha.
OT - Today starting week 5 of not smoking!
Week 3 I had great difficulty and I even ended up buying a packet of tobacco. I smoked a little bit -just a few puffs at the time, never an entire ciggie- during 3 days. Then I got fed up, decided I simply didn't want it anymore and threw out the tobacco in the rolling bin, poured half a litre of vinegar over it (also to kill some flies in there).
I haven't smoked since and doing well.
Today I've started with step 2, meaning less strong nicotine patches. I can put 1,5 on if I want and if I feel I need it since I had such a hard time in the 3rd week.
So far it feels okay with just the lighter patch.
It really feels like it was a decision from where there's no going back: even when I smoked a bit, I really didn't like the taste of it at all.
So if I -hypothetically speaking- wanted to smoke again, I'd have to get over that part where it's effing horrible.
Kind of funny some people do that to themselves? Why force yourself to do something that tastes god awful?
I hope I won't be one of these people, as I do understand that is the addiction part of it.
But weird when you think of it.
Anywho, 4 weeks under the belt! I still call them 'smoke-free weeks' as what little I did smoke, these few puffs, don't count. What DOES count is that I was strong enough to yet again decide "I do not want this chit!", dump it and walk away. And feel good about that too :D
My quit-smoking-coach via GP was also very impressed :)
Oh, and last time I weighed myself -last week- I had NOT put on weight at all!!
Fingers crossed.
My osteopath was surprised, and proud of me- as usually people who've quit 4 week have already gained 3-4kg.
