According to the Christian faith, the Savior Christ came with the truth as a preacher, and was crucified and rose from his grave to save the world from sin.
According to a number of Christian sites, the Jewish burial customs required burying the bodies of the poor in a single grave covered with stones. The holy grave was closed with a large stone to prevent anyone from entering. Then the buried body was transformed into a luminous body glorified - by the power of God - at the moment of the union of the body with the soul in the process of the resurrection. After his resurrection from the dead, Jesus will not die again. The body of Jesus was changed from a special body to a comprehensive whole body, "the spiritual body". However, it is not a purely spiritual body that belongs to the world of spirits. It is a comprehensive glorified body.
Muslims believe that Christ, the son of Mary, was not crucified, but rather likened to them, and God ascended him to the second heaven, and he will descend at the end of time.
As for the Jews, Christ did not come to earth yet and the Jewish believers are waiting for him to come at the end of time to rule the world. They do not believe in Christ the son of Mary, and his virgin mother, the daughter of Imran.

Study your Bible for yourself and ask God to lead you to Truth.

If you are sincere, He will. God is Real !

So many opinions of what is or isn't true out there in this world.

Typically when the Romans crucified someone they were left hanging there as a "lesson" to others, until there wasn't any "body" to be buried.

You wrote: "According to the Christian faith....". That's not biblical and it does make sense to know what is actually written in the bible. Unless you value Christianity above the Holy Bible.
