A banana, a yoghurt, ham sambos, gallons of coffee, a fag and the odd painkiller.

When I was working I loved Quickstarters.

Toasted English muffin slathered with mayo.
Fried egg (cooked yolk) in butter
Slice of fried ham
Cheddar cheese slice
Make a sandwich of it.

Spent many mornings at hotels offering Continental Breakfast
Continental breakfast menus usually include:

Baked Goods / Pastries
Fruits
Bread
Jams and Spreads
Coffee
Tea
Hot Chocolate
Juice

Optional Additions:
Breakfast Cereals
Eggs (Hot or Hard Boiled)
Meats (Sausage, Bacon, or Ham)
Sliced Cheese
Porridge / Oatmeal

Many all-night diners in the states offer traditional breakfast specials.
2 Eggs (sunny side up or over easy)
Toast or English muffin
Bacon or sausage
A stack of pancakes w/maple syrup

Many of the farms where I grew up had maple trees which were tapped and they offered 'local' maple syrup in gallon jugs. Some of the farms also had bee hives and offered 'local' honey (with or without comb).
