Salmon patties are really good and easy to make.

1 can of salmon I use pink salmon..
1 egg
diced onions to your liking
Pepper (salt) if you need it I don't use salt..
About 3/4 pack of crackers
At times I will add lemon pepper instead of pepper.

Mix it all up as far as the crackers I put about half a pack of crackers and check to see if it is enough to make the patties stick together if not then I add a little more at a time..

Once you make patties just put some grease in a pan enough to cover the bottom of the pan and fry once one side is to the color I want, then flip and cook the other side..

I make this and make fried potatoes to go along with it and pork n beans..

Yup, salmon patties are a good go to for canned salmon.

What I do with beef and chicken is I'll get the boil in the bag white rice or pasta, some vegetables, and sauce and throw it all together.

You could do something like that with the canned salmon.

Thanks and a good thought. I'm comfortable and good at cooking the same stuff I always have but this salmon is kind of new to me, I've got a bunch of it, I know it's good stuff and I want to use it. I don't think I've ate at home this much since I was a kid.

Yep salmon patties is the best use for canned salmon but I like mine with a tropical fruit&jalapeno chutney over wild rice.... or when I'm being lazy I just eat them with pineapplelaugh

I imagine you can do anything with it you can do with canned Tuna.
I believe most canned stuff is precooked (read the label).

For recipes, Pinterest is a great resource which features a search by keyword.
I found bacon cups that way using the keyword 'bacon'.
