I've seen both, the horse is faster.
The pig does float better tho.
The horse has longer legs allowing for a longer stride to catch the water.
The pig floats better because of displacement and its high fat content.
Cows don't swim. They get stuck in the mud and often have to be freed by farmers.
Sheep swim, goats swim. Well, they can tread water but if left in the water too long they do sink and drown.

Pigs do taste better than horses...mmmm...Bacon!
