Vesuvius volcano erupted in 79, led to the destruction and burial of the Roman cities of Pompeii, Herculaneum, and several other settlements, southern Italy. Many city residents tried to flee in sea boats, but gases, ash, and volcanic eruptions buried them all. The two cities were completely destroyed, and lay under a layer of volcanic ash more than six meters thick. These two cities remained buried for a period of 1700 years, until they were found and the volcanic layers were removed from them by historical scholars, so that people could see the effects of the destruction of the Vesuvius volcano.
After the devastating revolution of Vesuvius, it calmed down for a period of 1500 years, but returned to revolt in 1631 and killed at that time 18000 people.
The volcano Etna is currently erupting, sending small volcanic stones and ash into the city of Sicily.
Many people was lied the Prophets and killed Jesus. They said the Prophet Muhammad is a magician.
The Quran said to Muhammad:
If you are rejected by them, so too were messengers before you. And to Lord ˹all˺ matters will be returned ˹for judgment˺.
The Quran said to unbelievers:
''– then fear the Fire, whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for the disbelievers.''
The unbelievers will see the fire of Hell, which resembles a volcano, and they will say: “My Lord, send me back, In order that I may work righteousness in the things I neglected.'' Quran.

Not sure I understand the sense of this post... but in my opinion it's the opposite, hell has been 'designed' to be quite similar to Volcanoes, because people are scared of Volcanoes and needed to be scared of hell. It's no coincidence, they are similar by choice of the writer

Yes, a volcano must be hell on earth but I believe there are different types of volcanoes some mainly ash, other lava, etc.

I remember the Quran being an easy and somewhat fun read but it definitely has a different theology than other spiritual texts focusing MORE on violence and threats of this nature.

In the Quran there is a balance between enticing with the mercy of God, in everything, and intimidating His anger and torment, which everyone who turns away from guidance deserves.
The Quran mentioned the word “heaven” and its derivatives 147 times. Hell and its derivatives were mentioned 145 times
The Quran urges righteous deeds.
Examples:
Encouraging worshiping God: All the prophets called on people to unify and worship God.
Encouragement to pray and almsgiving :
God said: "(Let your concern be to) establish the Prayer in conformity with its conditions and pay the Prescribed Purifying Alms. Whatever good you send ahead (to your future life in this world and the next) for your own souls, you will find it with God. Whatever (good or evil) you do, surely God sees it well.
Encouragement to repent:
God said: "Say, ˹O Prophet, that Lord says,˺ “O My servants who have exceeded the limits against their souls! Do not lose hope in God’s mercy, for God certainly forgives all sins. He is indeed the All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
Encouraging Paradise:
God said: "God has promised men and women who believe gardens with streams of running water where they will abide forever, and beautiful mansions in the Garden of Eden, and the blessings of God above all. That will be happiness supreme."
Encouragement to believe in the Last Day:
Intimidation
It is the threat of punishment for a sin that God forbids, or negligence in fulfilling an obligation that God has commanded.
God promises every misguided dishonor in this world, and torment in the hereafter.
Intimidation includes:
God said: "So if they fail to respond to you, then know that they only follow their desires. And who could be more astray than those who follow their desires with no guidance from God? Surely God does not guide the wrongdoing people. "
The intimidation of Hellfire:
God said: 'Believers, guard yourselves and your kindred against a Fire whose fuel is human beings and stones, a Fire held in the charge of fierce and stern angels who never disobey what He has commanded them, and always do what they are bidden.'
The object of intimidation is to fear God and obey Him.
