There is luck over 50, or any age. Go outside of your house and do things and meet people. That is what happens.

B.S. if you mean working outside in yard, maybe for you city dwellers, but for us that live away from civilization, HUMPH! 1 of my homes is 1 mile off of a back road, so besides hearing a car occasionally, from the 4 homes that are farther out than me, nothing, & primary home is in mountains, edge of road is a tall cliff, very rural as well, & it joins 3,700 acres of federal land.

Pretty much a joke. The site shows people with the name of a city but what state are they in.

Why doesn't this site give users the ablilty to locate by state and within an age group?

i use zipcode to search, max of 50 miles, but lied to on that, and 1 was 200 miles, but showed profile 45 miles away, not dealing with that mess,I understand putting closest big city, as lots of rural areas, people have never heard of.

people are using multiple cities, multiple profiles, I see same pic in 2-3 profiles, different names, site needs to have a way to report them while your there, so admin can see and remove.

@lonely guy

That sounds a lot like where I am. Population under 100 on large lots. If I look outside, I pretty much just see trees. There is a town of 1200 a half hour away that the demographics say has more men than women. A two hour trip the other way has a place of 40 people.

The closest I have ever found on this site was over 500km, and they were lying about where they actually were (setting up to scam me).

There are real people out there, but if you live in a place with lots of people, why do you need to be here? Granted, meeting online can be easier, but for us living in the boonies, it is necessary!

You have more chance of an audience with the Pope

Best line in this whole thread. LOL

I've been around for 3 months and not a single bite on the line. I'm a terrible fisher. I even took the initiative & mailed a couple of men, but got lack-luster, non-responses. If they're under 55, they're too young. I've gotten a lot of youngsters liking on me, but nobody my age within 100 miles has looked my way, so dating is out of the question.

I very dumbly gave Mingle2 my credit card # to try 3 months and the thieves automatically took another billing, before I could deactivate and they don't answer their mail or phone calls. Consequently, I'm bought up for 3 more months, against my better judgement, but I did cancel that card & ordered another, so Mingle2 doesn't get all greedy again.

Good luck y'all and whatever you do, DO NOT GIVE MINGLE2 your credit card info!!!
