I did wear my gas mask, when I was getting vaccinated.

The hardest part of all this has been missing my kids and grandkids. That, I would
never get used to. Other than that, I pretty much did all my usual stuff and to this
day I’ve yet to see anyone not wearing a mask. I live in a very democratic state lol.

For Sure , I strictly follow the Rules and Regulations , Its Good for me.
I am not that Rich to pay USD 600 per Catch .
Why should I pay ?? Wearing a Mask just need .30 seconds .Just go along with the Rules for Betterment

I don't understand the reluctance to wear a mask. Combined with social distancing, it offers me some protection from you, at the very least. And vice versa. Don't be a douche. Please wear a mask in public.

THIS.
It baffles me how people get offended by me (or anyone else) wearing a mask..
Aaaand..how does *my* wearing a mask in any way affect YOU?
While I'd prefer you did (to protect me and anyone else you probably asymptomatic self come in contact with)..if you don't, that's on you..
I do have the right to *avoid* you.....

I have noticed less people wearing masks...but, until the number of vaccinated people gey yo a higher percentage..i will continue to wear mine...

As far as "normal".....it is no more or less "normal" than any other situation I have had to deal with over the years...I just adapt/ deal with it...

Erm... I don't see anyone saying they're offended by people wearing masks?

Also, this topic is not about judging and criticising people.
The question was and is:
Have you gotten used to the rules & regulations or not?

I'll never get used to the rules. All it does is make me stay home more.

New Zealand has done really well with its covid management . Compared with other countries we have enjoyed much freedom and for many has been life as usual .

It is quite sad Crystal. I follow the rules and am staying home a lot more. The only downside of that is I have gained a few pounds around the mid section. When a person gets older it is harder to lose the weight.

Yup. For the most part we can't go anywhere much anyway. All restaurants and pubs still closed, take-away only. Only 1 visitor so you cannot even see friends and family. Shopping by appointment, 1 hour max.
So where would one go?

And it is unbelievable sad so many so easily forget what 'normal' is.
I long for the day that I can see ppl's faces again when I go to the supermarket.

Texas is totally open.. Many places still require you to wear a mask..

Does not mean even after a year of this that I will get used to wearing a mask even for short times.. Can't stand anything on my face...

Therefore I only wear one at times.. Certain places I go to that require it I do comply... But sure if I walk in and nothing is said I don't wear one even tho I have one in my purse just in case..

We have never been locked down here all the way.. They did shut down bars, gyms and limited how many could be in one place at a time, nursing homes visitation was cut off, and only like one could go in the hospital to see patients at a time..

Now all of those places are opened all the way.. And it is up to each business if they want to require a mask or not..

As far as family gatherings my family never stopped having them.. Sorry, I'm going to see my grandkids & my family when I can..

Sounds like heaven, normalcy!!
Me and my kids also see each other as normal. My mother was a bit careful at first as she is in the high risk group.
My stepmother follows the rules so we had to cancel visit (me and my 2 kids). But she did allow her brother and wife to come, which also wasn't allowed...

You know what's daft... having to go to the supermarket for 1 small thing and still having to take a trolley.
I have walked in without twice, hihi.

Walked in the supermarket without trolley yesterday, deliberately. Couldn't be bothered. All I need was a bag of sweets. Without trolley I could should past the cash register (no one there), grab it, back to cash register, pay, gone.
Trolley is too much of a hassle for 1 item and I'd have to steer the danged thing through the entire shop to get to the sweets.

I must say it felt good. Normal. Well, almost, apart from the face mask that is.
