i have a 8 month old female husky. she’s amazing. doesn’t run away, doesn’t dig (too much), doesn’t howl (which i wish she did ), isn’t very destructive. i seriously lucked out with this girl :heart:. i’m currently looking to get a male husky so i can eventually breed my girl 🥰

There are way too many unwanted dogs around already. Why do you want to breed??

Do you know anything about raising huskies and what they need? Like a helluva lot of movement every day? If they don't get that they can become problem dogs. And they need a very strong Alpha. Most don't even know what that means.
I hope you knew what you were getting yourself into so that the dog doesn't end up on the street or animal shelter...
The wish to breed makes me feel that you only want to make money out of your dog. I hope I am wrong.
I wouldn't have taken a husky in the warm climate you live in, even though they seem to adapt. But it is stinking hot...
I hope you take real good care of the dog, also when things don't work out.

Money is usually a good motive... Huskies are in high demand and expensive, at least when bred properly.

And bad breeding is a huge problem with a lot of popular breeds. It has ruined the reputation of a lot of breeds and has resulted in even more unwanted dogs taken to shelters or being put down.

you might not want to get another husky for a few reasons... one is the cost of the other dog initial and long term food vet care and if it was to breed if you were specifically going for that it might be better to get a stud for the breeding . take into account any issues with pregnancy term problems with your husky.. i have had 3 litters and each came with its own issues including one where we had to bottle feed all the pups for the first 2 weeks due to mastitis for the mom and antibiotic treatment for her..
breeding is a lot more work than mating and popping out puppies and if you look at any pound across the usa there are tons of huskies in there....sad but true i loved my huskies and dont want any of that breed euthanized in a pound
