how do you like the new mingle 2 restricting us on access restricting us on how many people we talk to telling us we can only say so many things to so many people a day and if I want to do it all the time I have to pay for it this is supposed to be a free app not a pay app this app's really gone downhill

That is not a new thing; it’s been in place for many years and the same applies to those who upgrade their accounts.

Maybe you should get a job and/or life? If you find the need to message somebody you can use Fakebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, or one of the many other apps out there. Paid members can write longer messages without it stopping and the need to start a new message. But like Delight says there is always a limit, but I have never come across that limit because I have better thing to do.

Mingle rocks! It's one of the only dating sites left with forums, so in my book that's a win.

Huh, limitations in how many people you can contact/talk with? Limitations in how much you can say?

I must've missed something? Or is that on the app? I don't use the app. Why bother? I'm not going to sit bent over a mobile phone which causes FHP, something that is going to be a huge problem real soon, put on reading glasses and type with 2 fingers on a miniscule excuse of a keyboard.
Not when I can sit relaxed with head straight up and normal keyboard on the PC, using the full version :)

Never seen any restrictions whatsoever.

Not 100% sure, but I think, people who just joined, are limited to 5 messages to the same person per day? Could be the app though

I think messaging is free and unlimited ....

The limit of 5 to one person , is only if that same person does not reply.... obviously the 6 msg is not going thru as that's futile...
C'mon take a hint , it's very simple

This kinda complaint only comes from one day ole users or from wanna be stalkers , who generally have no patience or no chance .... just saying !!

Yeah, like Slim said, only if people do not reply to any of the 5 messages. Makes sense in that way.

Just a bit of info....

The site is making lots of changes...

Members will have to load a picture for their profile to show up on "Who's Online".

Main profile pictures will not show up till Upper admin have approved or Verified the account. This may take up to 4 days at times.

Members will be limited to so many messages a day in the beginning. ( This will help with fake/scammer accounts that send out multiply messages with links in them)

It has always been in place if you send a member more then 5 emails and they do not respond, then you can not send that member anymore emails till they respond! This is Regardless if you are a Paid Member or not!

All main pictures must be of the member and a clear picture or they will be deleted..

The site still ask members to report those things that are against the rules, in order to help out Upper Admin.

All members must comply to the Rules the Site has in place. Even tho the layout may not be what some want it is the way the Site chooses..

All these questions are answered within the Rules & Term of Use prior to signing up..

At this time the site is not taking Suggestions for they are adding programs in order for the site to run smoother..

And for those that think opening up more then one account to get by the filters will only find their Accounts could be Banned without Notice!

Things that make it more difficult for scammers are definitely always good, and always direly needed on any forum.
I remember with my forum I allowed members to activate their own accounts. One day I had gone out and when I came back all my members were upset as some scambot thing had filled up the entire forum with porn links & images & vids!

Since then I as admin and my mod(s) had to activate accounts. And a lot of work & time to remove all that crap.
