Better to have cold weather and sun than warmer temps and clouds, mist & rain for days on end!

I agree! It doesn't feel that cold out because of the sun. But the other day when it was 38F/3.3C and raining, I was chilled to the bones.
Yep, dank weather is not pleasant! I got an acquaintance who also has physical ailments. When in The Netherlands it bothered her tremendously.
Then she moved to northern Sweden with her hubby where it is normal to get -20C - -30C but her ailments don't bother her much, if at all, anymore. Because it's dry.
And she said it doesn't feel nearly as bad and cold as when it freezes less in the Netherlands.
OT -- 5C Mist. Thick mist. And I had to go into town. Oh boy, was I happy :/
Then on the way back I was behind a car that didn't even have its lights on???
I had my mist lights on, which is hardly ever necessary. It was -and still is- quite bad.
I'm not scared to drive through mist, but I sure as hell am aware of the danger of it, so I don't like it.
So... no sunshine today, can't even see clouds, unless you count mist as a huge cloud, hihi.
and freezing rain 🌧.... temps are just below freezing, 29°F Wind chill 15! Brrrr!
